This past Saturday I was at the Palms playing the nickle machines, and OMG as I was leaving to go home, (I live here) I noticed this line that went almost completely around the exterior walls of the casino. it was about 8:00 pm and the line was full of people ages 21-30 and they were dressed in the usual pick up attire. My suggestion, wear comfy shoes, while standing in line for this night spot and also go EARLY evidently the lines start forming around 4:30. and the place didn't open till 6:00 or so one person said.
I can't imagine anyplace that GREAT that anyone would want to stand in line like that for hours. what a waste of valuable vegas vacation time. unless those were mostly locals, I don't know.
Good Luck

The line you saw is for Rain in the Desert. It is only open on weekends and the locals love it. My opinion, it is the hardest club to get into in vegas.

rain became like that immediately after real world: las vegas started airing. it's not at all worth the wait. a nice club, but no club is worth waiting 2 hours for. also, if you're not getting vip bottle service, you won't have access to more than 1/2 of the club which is roped off to vip. i always pass on rain. the dancefloor at rain is also tiny compared to the size of the club.

i prefer rum jungle on fridays and ra on saturdays. much less of a line and i like the layouts of the club better.

Yep, Sonya is right...

Rum Jungle is cool...

RA is just okay. I am kinda partial to the Club2K in the Venetian...
