Front of Line/ VIP/wait in line?

Any advice for how to get tickets or front of line passes so you don't have to wait in long lines? I see www.vegas.com (http://www.vegas.com) sells passes.. anyone have experience with these and do they really work?
Know of a way to get passes cheaper than Vegas.com or at the door?

Put in some time at the tables and ask a pit boss for a pass for the nightclub... This is usually an easy comp to get since it costs them nothing to give it to you.

In Vegas, it's who you know. Using a Pit boss can definitely get you comped into the Nightclub at that casino, but that takes gambling to get noticed and who wants to risk losing monty just to get into a club?

You can find passes all over the place. Ebay and cabbies all have them. Most places they will work, but for the hotspots chances they wont do anything. It's more of a marketing ploy, or like a flyer. You're more likely to go to a club if you have a piece of paper that says VIP Entry than just a standard info flyer. But when you get to the clubs, it's ultimately up to the clubs discretion to honor it. Forget about using those Pure "VIP Passes" on a weekend. Body English hands 0one out that says "VIP ENTRY" but that's just to get you in the line.

Someone once told me that those passes are worth about as much as a piece of toliet paper.
