Bro,

Translation: you found hot chicks at the first 4 clubs and no chicks paid attention to you at the three you did not like. lol

I think it all depends on the crowd that happens to be there. I had a horrible time at Club 54.

But I think you sould try Drai's and I got a bunch of e-mails of a couple of lounges / clubs opening up. You should sign up to receive hotel up-dates, they send you stuff on discounts and anything new openning up.

Go get them tiger. graemlins/wink2.gif

Like all clubs, the new ones always overshdow the old. I feel like Studio 54 is really played out. Rumjungle is still ok I guess. I have really started getting in to the atmosphere of the lounges and bars way more than the clubs lately. Rain and Ghostbar are the newer spectacles but for the most part they are all the same. Baby's at the Hard Rock is still ok, but all of the guys and girls always end up looking the same. Try Drai's or the Fontana Bar.

Too funny

I acutally really liked Studio 54 when we went in October. We attempted to go to Rain but yeah right we should have been there like hours before the club opened cause the line was OUT Of Control!!

I guess it just depends on the person & what kind of music you like. Cause I really liked Studio 54.

Club Utopia is closed (not sure when it will reopen, or if it ever will). Their website is www.clubutopia.net (http://www.clubutopia.net) if you want to look.

Coyote Ugly at NYNY is the worst bar I've ever been to (went last August). I don't recommend it at all.

Studio 54 is always a good time. Strict on the dress code so make sure you wear black shoes etc.

Rumjungle is good from what I hear.

What about Rain, Ra, Ibiza USA (new), and other clubs? What are the typical times to go? We'll be there June 13-15 and want to enjoy every bit of the nightlife as possible. We are really going to hear the music - mainly the music. So, I haven't been to any of these places except for Rain and when we started to hear Hip Hop, that's exactly what we did - hipped and hopped right out of there. It seems no one will play an entire night of just club music. Any help would be great! THANKS

What do you mean by "club music"? I think that nightlife in Vegas is good or bad depending on where you live. The clubs there are a lot like going to Cancun or another Americanized tourist destination. Most of the clubs play Top-40 pop music set to a faster beat. I would rather go to the clubs here in L.A. where it is less about how much emphasis is put on special effects and more on shakin my ass.

oh yeah -- Shake yo' ass!

Hip hop music is the best...!!

Sorry for the vague request. I am from Chicago and yes, I would much rather have the music instead of the extracurriculars, but Vegas is a touristy town. What can you do? I was hoping that there would be some clubs that don't do the top 40 with hip hop/rap. Clubs that play constant techno or trance or euro or some constant theme. That's all. Don't hate, I was just asking a question and posting an opinion on a club (Rain) that I didn't really like.

I'm not hating brother! I was just saying that most (if not all) of the clubs in Vegas play the Top 40 stuff unfortunately. But the cool thing is that there are many themed bars and nightclubs that don't only play the standard. I totally agree with you that I'd like to have some variance! I wish there was a club that played 80's new wave and euro and spanish rock...

Doesn't Studio 54 do theme music nights, like 70s & 80s? And House of Blues too? Maybe you could find one that has dance music night. Though 70s & 80s would be my idea of heaven for dancing :D Different strokes ;)

That's purely immature on your part. Just because one kind of music is favored by a member of this board, doesn't mean that you have the right to sit there and criticize everything about that kind of music/club preference. If I was equally immature, I could say something rude and obnoxious about the 50's, 60's and 70's. But, I am not. I was simply asking a question earlier and all you can do is be an a$$. That's really nice of you. Your input is noted and appreciated on this topic.

Sunni,

1st of all i didnt criticize everything about that kind of club/music preference,
all i stated was an opinion. You were the one criticizing all current musics by making your asinine suggestion "At least we could understand the words in those songs... " You are the one knocking music of today . So you can take your head out of your A$$.And realize what you posted.

Stephen lt1 and Oz,
Maybe you both better read the posts again..
First of all, I am not immature and I do not have my head up my a$$ as you put it. I stated one simple sentence that you could at least understand the words in those songs...50's 60's 70's. It was not meant as criticism of any kind of music.I just stated a preferance.
