(If this is a duplicate post, please forgive me)
So I'm doing research for an upcoming trip. I'm looking for the hottest nightspot in Vegas. On my last trip, I hit Tabu, Studio54, Ghost Bar, Rain and Light. I've also been to Harley Davidson, The Beach and VooDoo Lounge.
On my next trip, I'm looking at
RumJungle
Ra
Baby's
Drai's After Hours
Venus
Agree? Disagree? Add one? Stay away from one? Who has the longest lines on Fri/Sat nights?
Let's here from you!
Thanks

A few weeks ago a buddy and I checked out Bikinis at Rio. It was a good place with two seperate rooms. Lots of eye candy for the girls and guys. Good music, not too loud. Not overly crowded when we were there on a Friday night and not much of a line to get in. (Although we didn't have to wait in line.) We offered the doorman a couple of choice cigars and he let us walk on by the line. Got in free with passes that the taxi driver gave us. We went back the next night because The Beach doesn't seem to pick up until after 12:30a.m. and it would of taken at least an hour to get into Studio54 due to the long line that snaked to the front of the building. (The Stones played MGM that night.) Although I wouldn't consider Coyote Ugly a nightclub, it was still a fun place to kill some time and and buy a few bottles of overpriced beer. The cigars worked at this place too! Music was great, but so LOUD that my ears began to hurt. I thought that RumJungle was over-rated. Seemed very trendy and pretentious. The cigars didn't work at this place. I'm going back to Vegas in July and we are going to make to Studio54 this time damn it!

Judging by the gorgeous people standing in line last weekend, I'd say Rain at The Palms.
FYI, we were in the casino playing nickel slots, but people waiting to get into the club were really dressed to impress.

I've been to Ra and didn't like it. It was way too loud and dark with lots of laser beems and smoke that bugged my eyes after a while (dang, I sound old don't I). I just got back from Vegas yesterday and tried out Venus. It was nice, but pretty small. We went on a Friday night and it wasn't too crowded. They played a good mix of music.

BKLAWGAL...the Venus is the lounge at the Venetian that has the Tiki Bar? We've read about it and it sounds like a cool place  We're going in 2 weeks and hope to check out this place, the Palms and a few others. We like the more laid back places where you could still talk or listen and dance to the music....LOL guess our age is showing too.

I think it depends on what your taste in the scene, crowd, music & night is. It's a matter of preference and what kind of mood you're in that will set the vibe for the night
