WHich hotel has the nicest place to sit and listen to a good live band in between gambling? I like the Paris, but I also like the small little stage area at the Sahara.....

I remember as were were playing slots we were jamming to the music. And after studio 54 ( 2 am) when we came out there were still playing .. it was nice smile.gif

I loved that Le Cabaret area at Paris. I also really like Fontana Lounge at Bellagio.

One of my favorite places in the world to relax and listen to music is Napoleon's at the Paris. Good cigars, jazz music, cushy leather chairs, and almost cheap drinks. Last time I was there however, they had stopped serving Citadelle gin. It is making me mad just thinking about it!

They had some crazy asian girl band in gold lame mini-skirts at Orleans last summer--I was at a VP machine just outside the lounge. They were fun!
For a completely different mood, I like the Piano Bar at Bellagio--is that Fontana? Can't remember--it's the one just in front of the baccarat & high limit table games area.

The Orleans always has a band playing which is near a lot of nickel slots and vp. Every time we have been, it is a different type of music, but usually a soft rock.

There was a really good band at the Mirage last summer, we sat at the bar almost every night listening.

Harrah's has a great outdoor venue I think its called the carnival court. They have an outdoor bar 3 blackjack tables and a live band. the band they had last year(I think they were a regular house band) was fenominal !!

Too many 6/5 tables, but Alladin usually has a good band playing in that bar that sits over the main casino.

Don't forget about the Sunspots at the Omaha Lounge in the Plaza. The cocktails are $1 and Felicia, the waitress, is the best! You haven't lived until you have seen these guys take requests!! It is a lot of fun for a little money. But a word of caution from the wise, when an old lady puts a napkin over a drink and gets up and leaves during intermission, it means SHE'S COMING BACK, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT SITTING THERE!!
