My fiance and I will be getting married on August 23rd at the Mandalay Bay. Abiding by tradition, the day before the big day we will be parting ways. My friends and I will be hitting the town with limos, and she wants to dance the night away with her friends. The problem is... She is 20 and her friends range in the 18-20 range. I have been searching for a club for almost a month with nothing to show for it. Is there such thing as a dance club for the 18-20? Even outside of Vegas? No matter how far she has to go. I want to give her what she wants the day before we get married. Knowing the economy, it probably will never be able to happen again.

Congrats on the wedding day, Pimp! I'll try searching for a younger-set club, anyone who has a clue please chime in...

I hope you can find one. I've been searching for people for about 2 years off and on and I haven't found one yet.

Thank you for the congrats Beef. I called Vegas.com's 1-800 number (to buy tickets to clubs). They said that Club Utopia lets in people 18-20. However doing a little digging I found out that Club Utopia is closed. For how long? Who knows... Needless to say, the bracelets that say "I am too young to drink" are perfectly fine with my fiance and her friends. I do not dance WHATSOEVER so she really wants to get her groove on. Thank you for the help everyone!

couple of things

1. i've seen some of the bars inside the hotels e.g. the lounge at the venetian (the hooker hangouts) and the fontana bar at bellagio not card people, and they have a live band there a lot of the time. I dunno what kinda music ur fiance's into, but dont be expecting anything u'd hear at a club. Why not look around or tell her to look around people who can make her a fake ID? mine worked beautifully.

As far as the fake ID thing goes, they are much tougher with IDs at the clubs than in the casino or at casino bars... The folks that card there are specifically trained to spot fakes vs. the casino people who are not...

That said, a really good fake and she should be in good shape and it's not like she would get arrested if they suspected it was fake... They just take them away from you.

From Vegas.com Club Info page: (http://www.vegas.com/traveltips/guide/clubbie.html) :

Q: Are there any underage clubs in Vegas?

A: Most of the bars and clubs in Vegas are for the over 21 crowd, but I do have some inside information on a couple of places that will let you in if you're younger. Alesium has a UNLV night on Wednesdays, but you have to be at least 19. House of Blues hosts occasional all ages shows, but check with the box office before you go.

I'm not saying that my fiance is a goodie goodie, but.... A fake ID would not be in her interests at all. Her party would take place on a Friday so that takes out Alesium. It really doesn't matter where the club is (I think Henderson would be OK). As long as you are riding in a limo. The distance away is an afterthought! So, if she were to slip some money to a door-man. Or a manager of the club. Do you think they might feel different about the anti-drinking bracelets for the ladies?

A friend of mine runs shows in the bay area. He said the insurance rates for 18-20 have absolutely sky-rocketed. Almost destroying his industry.

I onced asked a security person at the beach ( a club in LAs vegas ) and i think she told me an avergae rate to get someone in, w/o an ID is about 200 dollars

If that were for the whole group of girls. Maybe 6 or 7. That would be more than fair. However, 200 a head would be insane.
