I'll be at Caesars late April and was wondering about fun bars/lounges/clubs for the 40 yo crowd along the Strip. I am a single guy attending a conference there. Hoping to have a fun time. Thanks.

Bars/Lounges:

Shadow (Caesars)
Fontana Bar (Bellagio)
Mist (Treasure Island)
ghostbar (Palms)

There are TONS more...

Clubs:

rumjungle (Mandalay Bay)
Ra (Luxor)
Light (Bellagio)
Studio 54 (MGM Grand)
Babys (Hard Rock)
Rain (Palms)

All of these places are pretty much always happening.

Be sure and check out the Carnival Court at Harrahs. It is very entertaining. It's outside and they have bands and the bartenders are the best.

Depends on what kind of Fun you're looking for, but I'd suggest heading down to Mandalay Bay. There's plenty of stuff there, but my buddies and I practically lived in the lounge in the middle of the casino.

I second the Fontana Bar at Bellagio....Nice atmosphere and a beautiful view of the fountains

Swing by the Red Square if you get to MB. Aside from the incredible (albeit pricey) selection of vodkas, the vibe in the place is mellow and social...I always seem to strike up conversations with folks in there.

I second the ghostbar and also suggest Tabu at the MGM Grand!

I never leave Vegas without a trip to the Voodoo Lounge atop Rio. I'll be there next week & I am looking forward to checking out Coyote Ugly at NYNY, Tabu at MGM, and Risque at Paris. I will also check out Fontana at Bellagio after reading the posts here. I have been to Studio 54 and Club Rio. Both are excellent for the 30-40 crowd to people watch the 21-30 crowd. Club Rio is a meat market, but there was no shortage of Girls Gone Wild material on the dance floor & big screens.

Can anyone comment on Shadow? It is right at Caesar's and I would be interested in hearing from anyone who's been there.
