KCAL (LA news station) is going to have a little spot about my book during Wednesday's noon hour newscast. It should air about 12:20. I've been out of town and just heard about it. I was not interviewed.

Ken, will you still remember us when you are hobnobbing with Trump, Wynn and Gates on Shadow Creek?

Congrats--I'm sure it will be a rave review!!
I used to get that channel, back when I had C-band satellite that gave me networks from all over the country....I preferred it. Except the weather reports. That was just depressing. Well, Nashville ABC was the worst because they ALWAYS seemed to have a thunderstorm map on the bottom of the screen....

Hobnob? The closest I ever plan to get to the likes of those guys is the four times I've hit a golf ball in Gates' swimming pool. Now MM3 would be hobnobbing!!!

The chimp complained that your segment would upstage him. The good news is the squirrel on waterskis thinks you'd be good promo and agreed to the lead-in.

Ken, Congrats! I'm certain it will have a great review. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Well done! I wish it would've been available when I had planned my wedding.

Hi Ken,
I just bought your book and am a BIG FAN! Thanks for the great information. I feel like I'm talking to a celebrity. I hope your book does really well. Unfortunately, it didn't help me a bit as I was planning a reception only (already doing the #1 ceremony... it was nice to have my idea affirmed as the top of the heap). I still think there is room out there for a book that would put wedding co-ordinators out of business, but that's another show (as they say).
Anyway, best regards to you and yours!

Lotsa wedding coordinators should be put out of business. LOL
I'm going to add in edition 2 the sites that require a reception with a wedding, which will increase the tally by about 12. But I'm probably never going to tackle reception sites because there are literally hundreds of places to have a reception, tastes in decor, food and budget are TOO varied and most neon nuptialists just want a wedding.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the props. I re-read it last night as I'm starting to mark it up for ed 2 and was reminded how much fun I had researching and writing. Looking forward to adding more hotels, eats and things to see and do so it is even more broadly useful as a general Vegas guide ... though it will still always be about neon wedlock.
You get your degree from OHSU?
Congrats.
