I'm back!! The wedding went wonderfully!! graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
The Las Vegas Garden of Love did a wonderful job. The limo was late (7:30 pm instead of 7 pm), but that was ok. I was too nervous to be upset over it. We went to the License Bureau where there were two couples ahead of us, and then about 10 couples waiting once we got our license. The limo then took us to the chapel where we were given a choice of three different chapels. We chose the the 'outdoor' theme chapel. I can't remember what it was called. There were about 20 different boquets (sp!) to choose from. I chose red roses. The minister was friendly, as was the photographer. Our package was only $99 and it came with 12 photos, but the photographer took 52!! :D They give it to you on a CD. We got them developed at Walgreens the next day. They came out ok. Some were really blurry or off center, but for the most part, they came out pretty good. Plus my best friend has a program on her computer to cut and crop, so we worked on them and the final results were very nice.
The whole thing took about 45 minutes and the limo dropped us off at Mon Ami Gabi for our after wedding dinner. (Very good) The minister told us we were his 56th wedding that day!! I'm sure he makes out well in tips!
All in all, I was very happy with our choice of chapels, and my new husband graemlins/ylinlove.gif was pleased as well. We got married on our first night in Vegas, so we had the next 3 days to ourselves. We went out in the morning, and stayed by the pool all afternoon because it was 105!! Then we went back out at night when it was cooler. It was a great wedding, and a great vacation... ummm, I mean honeymoon!! We plan to go back for our one-year anniversary! I can't believe it is over and done with already!!
I give the Las Vegas Garden of Love the thumbs up! graemlins/beerchug.gif
