We are coming to Vegas in Dec for a quicky wedding (just the two of us), and would like some advice on wedding chapels. This will be our first trip to Vegas, so don't know a whole lot about it. We have been researching the net and are overwhelmed with all the info on various wedding chapels. They all claim to be the nicest, cleanest, best, etc. etc. etc, but we also found many reviews on tripadvisor.com that give conflicting feedback. Can anyone help us out with our choices, would like some info from anyone who has been married, or been to some of the chapels. We narrowed them down Graceland, Little White Wedding Chapel (drive thru), Chapel of the West but are open to any other recommendations. Thanks.

Doesn't seem like we've had many brides here lately, but make sure you go back pretty far in this forum to see the reviews from people who did get married in Vegas in the past year. You can change the dates displayed either in your profile, or on the subject list of this thread--change it to all or a year or something, and you should be able to see some reviews & comments. Also, by using the search function in the upper right corner, you can search for the chapels you're interested in. Congratulations, and good luck!

Newbie ...
Congrats. I'm writing a Las Vegas wedding guidebook and as it won't be out in time for me to sell it to you -- LOL -- drop me a line with whatever questions you have and I might be able to offer some insight. Either use the e-link (to my primary mail address) or vegasweddings@sbcglobal.net.

We were married in Las Vegas in September at Little Chapel of the Flowers. It is located on the Strip, across from the Stratosphere Hotel. They have 3 beautiful chapels with packages ranging from $200 to $3000, depending on what your looking for. Check out their website at:

We chose this chapel, because they offer free internet viewing of your ceremony(great for family/friends back home), it is a verytraditional looking chapel, the package prices are reasonable for what you get and that they have a beautiful little yard for outdoor pictures.
We booked our entire wedding over the internet and were extremely happy with how everything turned out.

I highly recommend Graceland Wedding Chapel. We renewed our vows there in Sept. We had Elvis perform the ceremony. It was both silly and sentimental at the same time. If you're looking for something more traditonal, just skip the Elvis and you'll be all set. Also, Graceland's Chapel is small. It was just the two of us and we didn't feel at all lost being there with no witnesses. It was very pretty and cozy.
The best thing about Graceland was the pictures! They came out BEAUTIFUL! Everyone who saw them commented on them. I had a very difficult time deciding which one to enlarge because there were so many good ones.
The other piece of advice I have for you is to not be shy about telling people you are there for your wedding. Tell the hotel when you make your reservation, tell the restaurants when you make your reservations..... You will have a lot of compimentary things (snacks/beverages)sent your way if you tell them about it.
Congratualtions and enjoy! graemlins/beerchug.gif

My wife and I got married at cupids wedding chapel almost 5 years ago.The lady that runs the chapel is fantastic. She recommended a place to get a tuxedo and told me that they would press my wifes dress for free.Upon arriving in vegas i went and got fitted for my tuxedo but forgot to ask them about pressing my wifes dress. When we got back to our hotel I called them and asked them if they could press my wifes dress to which they replied"that would be $65.00"!!I went to the chapel and told them about it and she called the tuxedo shop and talked with the owner and the next morning my wifes dress was pressed for free along with an apology. This is just one example of what lengths they will go to, to make your wedding special.
They also do a very nice video of the wedding along with well done photos.
They have packages to suit almost any budget.

Here's another vote for Graceland Chapel!
We renewed our vows there last June and it couldn't have been more special.
The chapel itself, though small is really beautiful. Not over-the-top Vegas, but has a clean serenity about it, along with absolutely stunning stained glass windows.
The pricing is some of the best at any chapel in Vegas, and I agree with whoever said it, our photos were amazing for the price. Better in some ways then our expensive wedding photos we got a few years ago.
Everyone was incredibly nice, super helpful, and even though it was a a renewal, and a short ceremony, we were truly made to feel special!
We did not do Elvis, but had a very traditional ceremony that truly resonated for us.
I loved the whole experience and could not have been happier anywhere else!

Thanks everyone for your great info. I have also heard good reviews about Graceland, so I think we will look at it closer. graemlins/angel.gif
