Hi FatStevey,

Well talk about coincidences, we got married at the Little Chapel of the West on Xmas Eve last year after eleven years of 'courting'. Plus there was only the two of us. I'm guessing that you also come from the UK (we're in Yorkshire by the way).

Your post has little chapel of the west in the title and liitle white chapel in the text, so I'm not sure which one you're thinking of but either way the Chapel you pick won't seem too big, afterall you'll have the minister, organist and photographer, depending on which package you've bought.

The Little chapel of the West certainly didn't, it has has dark wood walls and narrow benches which make it feel comfortable rather than like being in a large cow shed.

I can understand your concerns its a bit scary not seeing the place first but I'm sure you'll be OK. I know it sounds a bit wet but it really didn't matter who was there as long as we were, it made things that bit more intimate and special.

If you want some tips,

1) Don't forget your own camera (we did) they'll be lots of people around to take your photos as you'll probably be in a queue.

2) Do pay for the chapel to do some photos, they're actually quite good.

3) Without sounding patronising, you must remember to tip the minister, so have say $50 ready. If you do forget don't worry he'll remind you.

4) They'll provide a witness, but if they're anything like ours they won't actually be in the chapel.

If you want any other info or some suggestions please let us know we'd be happy to share what we know.

By the way where are you staying? and what do you plan for the rest of your stay? Do your family and friends know what you're doing, I only ask as ours didn't. After visiting Vegas five times before I guess they thought we'd never do it!!.

Best Wishes

bigdave.
