My buddy Eddie B just got back from a weekend in Sin City and stayed off-strip at the Tuscany.

Here is a copy of the email he sent me:
Man I was totally impressed by the Tuscany. I would definitely stay there again.. $39 a night and probably a 15 minute walk to Barbary Coast.. The place is only a year old and very nice and clean, The rooms are huge and they have $7.95 steak and lobster that was pretty damn good..The casino is only 3 months old but it is pretty nice with hardly any smoke. There was hardly anyone in there. They don't have coins in there..Its like Casino Arizona where they print out tickets instead of coins. Definitely the best $39 a night place I've ever seen.
He also told me they have all the normal table games, but not too many of them were open. The place is still 'undiscovered' there wasn't many people in there on the weekend.

Have seen a few posts that say the same thing-quiet,clean,and not crowded yet. Seems that not many people are walking down there yet.....word of mouth will help their business though.

I just returned this morning from 5 nights in Vegas, and we spent an evening visiting the Tusc. Very attractive and new. It was not busy the night we we were there at all. We sat at a $5 blackjack table for almost 2 hours, and had it mostly to ourselves. Our wives played the machines and found them incredibly tight - they each lost their butt in the time were there. And the band that was playing in the lounge, which could be heard throughout the entire casino, was so bad that we were cracking up laughing. But anyone who wants to play table games and avoid the crowds will have a good time here.
