The best thing about this place is location. It is in the heart of the strip. For teenagers it may not ne the best, but it is a good location for sightseeing elsewhere. I am not sure if they have an arcade or not.

I believe its no longer a Hilton...just the "Flamingo" but its basically the same.

Well, there actually is. It's the Hilton Grand Vacations Flamingo..... Is that the one you're talking about? It's not the same as the Flamingo that most of us think about down in midstrip. Which one are they thinking about? The Hilton Grand Vacations Flamingo is south strip.

it is still part of the hilton. if you go to the hiltons website you can book the flamingo. anyway, the flamingo has one of the best pools in vegas, some say the best. there are several pools that connect each other with mini slides. as far as it being kid friendly, theres not a whole lot for them to do. circus circus is the most kid friendly i think because of the amusement park. if there going there just for swimming then i think its a prime pick. if money isn't an issue, then mandalay bay has a great pool and excalibur is connected to them (the tram) and theres an arcade there.

i must have put this in the wrong section as the flamingo is right in the middle of it all. i'm not sure how much time they will be spending at the hotel. i'm sure they will be seeing hoover dam and the grand canyon. i actually mentioned mandalay bay to them. what a great pool. the location of mandalay bay seems to be an issue. i know you can tram from mandalay to excalibur. walk over to monte carlo and tram to bellagio i believe. hopefully these posts will help them out.

Beware--that oh so convenient tram between Monte Carlo & Bellagio is closed now while Bellagio builds more rooms :(

We stayed at the Flamingo last summer and are booked to do so again this year. We had no complaints at all. The room was nice and very clean, the staff all seemed friendly, and the pool/wildlife area is great! The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the buffet. I thought it was pretty average for the price.
