We just booked at the Hilton Grand Vacation Resort behind the Flamingo. Wondering if any one has stayed there and what their feel for it was. We did not buy a time-share, but rented a one-bedroom suite for a few days.

Thanks!

We stayed thier last September. It is a very nice place. If you can get a room in the main building in the upper floors you will have a very nice view of the flamingo pool area. The one bedroon units have a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. It has a small but nice living room with a kithcen and dinette table. It also had a washer and dryer in one of the closets. The grounds are connected to the Flamingo Hotel and Casino which give you access to a very nice pool area as well as a pool just for HGVC guests. The HGVC pool has shelter with gas barbeques. Thier is also bar just fro guest at the pool.

It is great location on center strip. Just a short walk from HGVC to the Flamingo casino then out to the strip. Enjoy your stay in vegas, it is one my favorite places to go. I am looking forward my next trip thier in September.

Dawg,

Thank you so much!!!!!! That puts any of my fears to rest, as I hate to stay anywhere that I haven't been before. It can always make or break your vacation.

Cheers to you too and have a great time next time your there!

Have never sayed in the Hilton Grand Vacation Resort but it looks really nice. I visit the little store when I am at the pool. They have all types of things you might need during your stay. They also have a turkey sandwich that is delicious. Mention you're staying in the HGVR and I believe you get a discount on items you purchase there. graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Just wondering how do you go about renting there without being a member?
We went on there tour of the place a few years back. Looked really nice.

Hilton Flamingo Grand Vacations Club (http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/hotels/index.jhtml;jsessionid=5LVDHHUMW1C4LJ31AO0MISQ?ctyhocn=LASFLGV)

That link should take you there. If not, just search Hilton Site (http://www.hilton.com) for Las Vegas hotels and it should come up!

We payed $115/night, but booked way in advance for June 2003.(for a one bedroom suite). We checked the other day and it was up to $185/night for same days and accomodations. But for the money we are paying, you can't beat the accomodations. Especially when there will be 4 of you and the extra space is required. Good Luck!
