Welcome to the board!

What do you want to know? smile.gif It's downtown.. just off FSE.. here's their website http://www.ladylucklv.com/

They're pretty good with comps and not a bad choice for budget travel.

You can click on "search" on the upper right corner of the board and enter Lady Luck and scroll up to check all forums... that will show you prior messages about LL.

The Lady Luck wants those Las Vegas first-timers, and the comps and their friendly attitude toward those who win in the casino is refreshing. The downtown needs more places like the Lady Luck.

I recommend it highly.

I've never stayed at LL but have been in the Tower rooms a coupla times. Probably about an older Super 8 style/quality which means that they are about average for Downtown. I do understand that the older "Garden" rooms are not quite as nice but have never been in one. They are one of the few Downtown with a pool. I personnally don't care for their casino for table games but have played quite a bit of VP there in the past-would consider it more of a machine players place. Do feel that the new owners are not as good as the old were. With the possible exception of the Burgandy Room (where I've never eaten) you would be better off eating elsewhere. It's a fairly good location a block from the Fremont Street Experience and about the same from th DTC. But, of course, it is a long way from the Venetian or Bellagio in more ways than one. ;) :D

We stayed in August because it was still an Isle of Capri property and the casino we go to close to home always comps us fully (Isle of Capri, Marquette).

Room - We stayed in the Tower right above casino, it is apparent they have been remodeled. They were nice clean rooms, they are not strip rooms but very clean and hey its vegas you don't go there to sleep.

Casino - NOt a lot of table games but do have a nice offshoot of 21 that I liked, you could double on any two cards and at any time, example if you get to 11 after 4 cards you can then double down. You can surrender at any time, even after a double down. A few more nice rules to this game, the only drawback is they only pay even money on BJs (but how many do we all really get. They have a MAKEUP game on the other side of the pit that probably makes up for that, DON'T Play it.. the dealers win all pushes in lieus of getting 2.5/1 for all BJ's :( . If that doesn't have sucker written on it I don't know what does. Craps are or were 10x odds $5 dollar game.

Comps - Well they missed a couple of long session of mine so my taste was a little bitter, they comped my rooms anway but I should have had more. May have just been a bad night so I wouldn't use that as judgement.

Food - Umm.. go eat somewhere else. We only tried the Buffet against a friends warnings (lives in vegas) and we should have listened. I am not a picky person when it comes to eating, especially at Buffets but this food was BAD. The food was not kept warm, items were left out too long and not replaced and what was edible was just "Bad".

Location - it is one short block from FSE so location is great.

People/Service - They were all great, very helpful, courteous and nice.

Overall - we like the LL, would stay there again, just go somewhere else to eat!!!
