Now that the monorail is up and sometimes running, I'm sure that buffoonery is sure to follow.

Please answer the following questions

After much "scientific study" I have found out that Hoya is a freak. Not only will she flash at all of those places. But she will also flash at Zumanity screaming "that's how you do it you G-rated punks!"

I just re-checked and my last night in LV is 9-11. I leave at (get this) 6:55AM on Sunday morning! Which in LV equals the red-eye to end all red-eyes.

On the 12th I will be boarding a 6 hour flight on Aloha Air to Kauai. Then it's just a 60 minute drive to the northshore. Where I will spend the next 6 days hoping work doesn't call. Let's just hope the roof of the jet doesn't come off. I need a drink

Hey Pimp, I feel your pain. My last day in Vegas will be 9/11 too, but I had to nix the 6:55am flight on Southwest. We did that last time and it was the worst flight ever. Not only had we been tossing dice and drinking the previous 5+ hours, but we were the last to board the plane and got the rear facing seats so it felt like you were leaning forward the whole flight. No recline or anything. It sucked something awful.

It sounds like quite a few people will be there during the week of 9/6 - 9/12. I most definitely think there should be a meet of some sort.

Yeah, but the last 2 1/2 years all my credits have been "dissertation work", not actual classes. That can't count!! Diane kept changing her field of study. I just keep "tweaking" my dissertation topic and therefore can't move forward, that's all....

The island of Kauai is absolutely a breathtaking place on earth. I got a REALLY bad sun burn and had to go to the doctor. I wasn't allowed to go outside during the day. Everybody felt bad for me. I didn't get it. I got to drink all I want. The doctor prescribed me vicodins, and E! was doing a True Hollywood story marathon. Whenever we go out there we get together everday at sunset. Incredible place.

Not to mention the Princeville hotel breakfast buffet is INCEDIBLE!

Pimp, we got married at the Hanalei Bay Resort in 1999. We've stayed there, as well as at Sea Lodge condos, a private house on the golf course next to Hanalei Bay resort (owned by the guy who owns the Red Dirt Shirt company, and from where we returned with a rescued cat), at Pali Ke Kua, and our most recent trip we stayed at Pu`u Poa.

I cannot wait to go back! And I'll most likely get there before I get back to Las Vegas (which is why I'm not doing very well in the poll that began this topic - among other reasons I'm sure!)

Mikey Well, I don't usually go around saying "I'm smarter than you" (though I have been known to say it on occasion ;) Only to the really stupid people though tongue.gif ) I do, however, frequently tell people I could kick their butts at Trivial Pursuit as that kind of knowledge gets stuck in my brain. I'm no Ken on Jeopardy or anything, though!!

Actually, Mikey, I had to fill out a survey and one question asked about the greatest obstacle I'd overcome in my life--I asked if 26 years of education counted graemlins/laughing.gif

I love Hanalei. Kauai is one of the craziest places I have ever seen as half of it is beautiful and lushly green, and the other half is almost a desert. We rented a jeep and took it all over the place. To these incredible beaches that there were only two or three people at. Linda got freaked out by all of the barbed wire fences surrounding the "sugar farms".

It's not gonna be me. The only hotel on the route that I'd be at is the Imperial Palace. And from there, everywhere I'd want to go is across the street. So I can't see me riding the monorail anytime soon.
