So, we don't really know exactly what Steve Wynn's latest creation will look like... But we can have a fun time guessing!

Post your predictions below...

Here is mine:

The "mountain" will cover the corner of Sands Ave/Las Vegas Blvd. It will continue along the Strip North for a bit until you run into the edgw of the resort complex.

The hotel tower itself will be a semi-circle looking thing... Or at least something curvy, glass and granite.

Between the mountain and the tower will be the lake.

The tower will have rooms facing the lake, the golf course and also the Strip.

The car dealerships will be located on the Strip, near the existing Wynn Resorts building structures.

The casino will try to incorporate as much natural light as possible.

Restaurants will be on all corners of the resort complex, some on the lake, some on the course...

SO, those are my predictions based on what I have read... I'm sure others have visualized it differently... Post below!!

I'm not up on my Las Vegas history, but could you tell me where this hotel is being built? I understand it on the site of the old Desert Inn, but I'm not sure where that was located. Read an update on Las Vegas Review and there planning on opening in 2005. No details on theme or construction stats.

Here's a map I was sort of working on a long time ago. It's not up to date and things are missing, but it will tell you where Desert Inn was and where LeReve will be.

It's North of Venetian.

Dan was there last Friday for a quick 2 hour visit and he didn't bring me any pictures of DI/LeReve. He says, "It's just piles of dirt!" I know that, but I wanted to see the piles. smile.gif

Thanks. We'll be in Las Vegas for New Years and check out the site. I'll get you some picture of "the dirt" if you like.

Much like all of the casinos in Vegas, I am sure it will look really good as I enter it, and less good after I've dropped $500 at its tables.
