We all love free entertainment but there has to be one free attraction that is your favorite.

Bellagio fountains are one of my favourite things to watch.

The fountains are my absolute favorite, we spend hours watching every trip. Also love the conservatory especially in spring. I enjoy them all.But I don't see the pirate show anymore, it gets far too crowded for me.

Ahh.. but here's the secret to enjoying the pirate battle.

About 45 minutes before the next show, make your way into the casino to the Battle Bar. Go out the double doors on the back wall and you'll find yourself outside on the patio. Find a table towards the left, but not all the way to the left. Just be sure you are just able to view all of the Pirate boat from where you're sitting.

When the waitress comes, order a drink and sip at it as you watch the crowd gather across the water along the sidewalk and on the bridge. After not too long, you'll see 2 pirates paddle by on a canoe.. then the British friggate comes around the corner and the show starts!

Best seats in the house! And don't forget to stay for a few minutes after the show "ends" to see the special show by the British captain.

I'll have to give it a try...I get claustrophobic (sp?) standing on the bridge or sidewalk.
