View Full Version : Food Deals on the Strip
Howdy all,
I am heading to Vegas in about 2 months, and I am wondering what some of the best food deals on the strip are?
Check out the "best las vegas values" thread on this same forum for a start to your query.

Although there is a lot of great food on the Strip, it is not the place to find "deals". If you like ambience and "unusual dishes" then the Bellagio buffet could be considered a deal ($22.95)-at least compared to what you would have to pay for similiar in NYC or LA, etc. Still if you want a "deal"(good but frugal) you are better off going Off-Strip or Downtown. There are free shuttles that will get you to the Rio, Orleans, Gold Coast, Sam's Town, etc. On the strip itself I like the brunch at the Sahara (many will scoff but I really like the custom omelets and the lox) and there's always Nickel Nicks at the Ho but these are on the north end of the Strip. There is the $4.95 steak special at Ellis Island and Bourbon Street advertises real cheap food deals although I've never had any there. These two are Off-Strip,but just barely, east of Ballys. Sonya has a lot of detail on Information & Links and is definitely worth checking as chef said. And you can always get good tips/recommendations just reading the posts here. graemlins/cheers.gif

I didn't see San Remo mentioned on the other thread; they have a ~$5 Prime Rib or Steak and Eggs special, not sure if it's on the menu but it was on their marquee. Not the best prime rib, but good, esp. for the price, and it's relatively convenient to the South Strip, behind the Trop.

If you are ever on the north end of the strip late at night or early early mornning then try out Kadie's coffee shop inside The Riviera. They have a $2.99 all u can eat pancake and coffee special thats pretty good. I've heard alot of diffrent opinions about Kadie's, but we have stayed at The Riv. for the past two years and have always enjoyed Kadie's. Nice and friendly wait staff. Fast service. They have a good lunch and dinner menue as well. The lines have always gone fast. The longest we have ever had to wait to be seated was about 10 minutes.

Just recieved my "Everything Las Vegas" newsletter and they had a link to food "deals" not requiring a coupon. There was quite a few on the Strip-guess it just shows how little time I spend on the Strip. At any rate, try-

You can print these out and bring them with you. graemlins/beerchug.gif graemlins/cheers.gif

My hubby and I ate at McDonald's (In the Luxor) most days to save some cash last year. Now with the new dollar menu, we should save LOTS of money this year! :D
