Hi everyone and thanks so much for all the feedback regarding subscriptions for various coupons. I went to a few websites and feel that the only coupons we would use were on the Las Vegas Advisor membership.

Has anyone chosen to join their membership for the $37 rather than the $50?? Below I list the differences between the memberships. All I am really interested in is the Pocketbook of Values coupons and maybe reading about some member feedback on the website. I don't know what the reference guide is - but I have 2 books that I purchased that will go with me to Vegas - Frommers 2002 guide and the Unofficial Guide to Las Vegas 2002, both are great. I would not get the monthly newsletter mailed to my home - but I don't mind that either, I am going to Vegas in 2 months - so I can't see how that would really benefit me - unless the newsletter will contain very valuable coupons not available in the POV. (I am all booked at the mirage and know I want to stay there so hotel coupons won't benefit me.)

Can anyone tell me if the $13 savings is beneficial?

I think on the Advisor website it says that hard copies of coupons (additions to the valuebook?) are occasionally mailed out, so you'd miss those. But since you're going in 2 months (unless you plan to return within the year) my gut says you're probably ok with the online membership only....Of course, my gut is ALL I have, I don't have a membership (yet, husband dear smile.gif It's on my birthday list ;) )

We have the $50 membership. The Pocket book of values has a LOT of coupons, including free Scintas tix, meal coupons, and gambling coupons. The newsletter has coupons in it,too. I think it's worth it. The Scintas alone makes up for the cost.
