Hey everyone, I can't seem to find a cheap airfare to vegas from Buffalo, the lowest i've seen is $340. I'm leaving on May 31st, so i need to find something pretty fast, i'm only going for 3 nights staying at the RIO 2 nights for free. I have tried most of the travel sights, all the same prices, some were ridiculous, so does anyone have a suggestion or an idea? Maybe a site that i may not have tried? Thanks for your help!

You didn't specify which Buffalo so I'm assuming it's NY. Drive over to Toronto (airport code YYZ) and you can fly American or US Airways for $283, Delta at $284 or Northwest @ $286. You can go to the airlines websites direct or have your travel agent go to www.beta.itasoftware.com (http://www.beta.itasoftware.com) for booking details. You can also use the booking details direct if you prefer.

Try Travelocity.com
They have the following promo:
save up to 65%
Fly on a name-brand airline and save! (Limited time offer) - $262.91
Buffalo, NY (BUF) To Las Vegas, NV (LAS) Flights between 6am - 10pm.
Las Vegas, NV (LAS) To Buffalo, NY (BUF) May include one or more stops

To save you some time these are the details of the promo:

Save up to 65% with Travelocity Fares
Sometimes, really low fares are available for your trip, if you let us pick the airlines and flights. If your travel plans are flexible, you can save up to 65% off regular prices by taking advantage of these fares. These fares are lower than the "published" fares offered by the airlines to the general public, but will carry additional restrictions.

How Does it Work?
If a special discounted Travelocity Fare is available for your requested cities and dates, it will automatically appear on the results page with the other listed fares for that trip. You'll see the fare and the exact airports for original departure and final arrival. Your trip may have 1 or more connections, but these will not be shown. The specific airlines and flights will be revealed in your confirmation of purchase, once your credit card is successfully verified and all other reservation information is complete.

Just select the fare to continue and book! Remember that we will select the specific airline and flights, and then let you know your complete itinerary after the purchase is complete. You'll know the specific itinerary as soon as your purchase is complete.

Enter your cities and travel dates below to search for a Travelocity Fare.

How many other Buffalos are there?

I found it on Hotwire for $298, leaving Buffalo 5/31 returning 6/2.

Hotwire is actually cheaper. Coming back on 6/3 (three nights) it's $243.

What I don't like about these tickets (same as above promo w/ travelocity, priceline, etc.) is that you do not get to choose the airline or your schedule.

Oops, I only remembered 2 nights at Rio, so I assumed 3 days 2 nights when I did the search on Hotwire.

Depending on when, why & where I travel, I'm not always so picky about which airline & what time I fly, and I have almost NO brand loyalty, but I haven't used Hotwire. Used Priceline and that was sort of a nightmare but in the long run we ended up going First Class to our destination, so that part of the trip was GREAT!

Thanks for the good tips, I am staying for 3 nights, so that hotwire price may be the best that i can get, but i don't like not knowing the flight times either and i don't want to make 2 or 3 connections either.
