Yes, It's completed. But why would anyone want to walk it? They have excellant shuttle service to Harrahs and back.

National airlines is great. I have flown with them 6 times in the last 18 months. Use the service to check your bags through to the Rio. I have had nothing but good experiences staying at the Rio and checking my bags through to the hotel. I love getting off the palne and not dealing with the luggage. Tell the front desk you want your bags sent to your room. The shuttle service is good also, as it's a long walk to the strip. Good Luck.

Thank you for your reply. I am an avid walker
down from 260 pounds and I like to walk. It's a matter of something I have to do. I'm staying at Bally's but realy like RIO. Just hate to take a cab form bally's to rio.

We like to walk in Vegas too! But since we'll be going in August, I don't think we'll be trying the walk to Rio from the Strip--at least if you're walking along the Strip you can stop in to a casino to cool off and get some water any time you need to. When you get back, tell us how the walk & the sidewalk are! Eventually we'll go back in cool weather.....

As long as it isn't too hot the walk can be nice. We walked from the Rio to the MGM one night and really enjoyed it. We made one stop to watch the fountain shows then con't on. We do not go for walks at home but do tend to do alot when we r in Vegas.

If for some reason you don't want to walk it, take the shuttle from the Barbary (catch it on Flamingo, just across the street from Bally's) to the Gold Coast, then walk to the Rio, or vice versa, if you only want to walk one way.
