When we will be in Vegas from 17 until 23 we have also a Car which we already have from LA.

Is it wiser to drive around in Vegas or take a cab for every trip.

Can you get parking space everywere.

Anyone can inform on this matter.

Since I use the bus system I am probably not the best person to advise you but I will be the first, at least. If you already have a car I would drive. Just about all the casinos have parking lots and valet parking. since you will already have rented the car, parking and tips will be cheaper and you have the convenience of your own car. driving in and around LV is not difficult at least in my mind.
Now the more experienced LV Travelers can advise!

I usually just use foot power (and monorails between hotels) or the bus, which was very crowded in October. My husband and I did rent a car on a previous trip, he did all the driving http://www.travel2vegas.com/ubb/smile.gif. The traffic on the strip on weekends can be a bear. Cabs are too expensive IMHO. I'm looking forward to the new monorail system going in on the strip. http://www.travel2vegas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Driving on the Strip can be a challenge, but if you get yourself a map you can use the streets that run behind the casinos to get around. Just be careful as that's the routes that shuttles and taxis use so there's always someone zipping through. Sometimes I'm zipping through too, so watch out for me too. http://www.travel2vegas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Parking is very easy. Most casinos have ample parking near the casino. Self park is almost always clearly marked. Valet parking is also nice. It's a free service, but it's recommended that you tip $1-2 when you pick up your car.

Enjoy!

I really have to get usedto this Valet parking, its something I can not seem to get used to.

In Holland its something odd to give your car to a total stranger and let him drive of with it.
I am always worried if I get my car back in a good manor.

But maybe its just me being crazy.

It's certainly a risk. Felt weird to me too, but it saves me a lot of walking so I got over it. http://www.travel2vegas.com/ubb/smile.gif

I always make sure that the person I had my keys over is in the uniform that the other people are in. http://www.travel2vegas.com/ubb/smile.gif So far I've been lucky I guess.

My parents were staying at MGM Grand and they miswrote the parking space number on the ticket and they lost their car. They eventually found it and gave them use of the MGM limo service during the time the car was missing (one afternoon). Not too bad for the inconvenience.
