Quickest way from Bally's to Venetian

Next Thursday evening hubby & I want to go to the Venetian for dinner and a gondola ride.

I read they only sell the tickets & make reservations starting at 9am the day you want to ride.

We will be staying at Bally's--what would be the best way to get there by 9am to make our reservation for that night?

I am thinking taxi---what would it cost approx?

It's only one block north from Bally's to Venetian, but it's a long block. You could certainly walk it if you don't get distracted by the other casinos. http://www.travel2vegas.com/ubb/smile.gif

I'm guessing a taxi would be about $4 maybe $5 if there's traffic. If you scroll to the bottom of this page http://www.lasvegastaxi.com/taxitips.html you can find a chart that will give you approximate taxi fares from one location to another.

Getting there in the morning is definately a good idea. We got there at 10am for the gondola ride. We were told it wold be about an hour wait, even though there was no one in line. We told the girl we did not want to wait an hour, and we would just skip it. Then she looked at the line and said, well, since there is no one in line you can go now. In 2 minutes, we were on the gondola. It was a very fun ride.
