It's downtown. I'm 99% positive it's in La Bayou. It might be Mermaids.. but I don't think so. It's the one opposite Glitter Gulch.. Okay.. 99.9% sure it's La Bayou. :D

If I'm thinking of the right place, they have about a dozen or two flavors and you can get anything from a $1 normal sized cup to the 1/2 yard and one yard sizes with floaters (for a nominal fee).

I think it was the one yard that put my wife sound to sleep on the #301 one night (it's the first time I've seen the whole bus laughing zzzzz).

I was asleep because it was past my bedtime--WAYYYY past midnight smile.gif And I finished my drink AND yours because it was too sweet for you. I like most of the flavors (if it's not too crowded they'll give you a sample, but if it's a Saturday night, you'll have to make up your mind as you wait in line) White Russian is good earlier in the day, I like a plain lime daiquiri at night. The red ones just turn your tongue funny colors tongue.gif

PS Westward Ho also has what it calls a daiquiri bar--they have 4 or 5 machines, and the hours are erratic depending on staffing. It's a good value if you're in the neighborhood and they happen to be open. You can usually get 50 cent or $1 off coupons in the freebie magazines (or maybe that's Slots A Fun, but it's just next door)

Thanks for the info. They all sound yummy, I can't wait to taste them all!!

I'm pretty sure I can handle a few yards before I fall asleep on the bus :D I'm used to the late bedtimes.

This place sounds cool, but since they're so cheap, are they good? Is there actually alcohol in them? When we were in Vegas, haning out by the pool, this guy ordered this drink...and I don't know excatly what flavor it was. It was a white colored daquai, and he put a shot of Bailey's Irish Cream over it. Any idea on what it was? I want one!

Yes, they have alcohol, and they really aren't ALL that cheap. I think the $1 refers to 8 or 12 oz (ok, it's cheap smile.gif ) The half-yards and yards are more, around $6 maybe? It's been so long....Far, far too long!!! My husband thinks they get too sweet and annoy his throat, so he can't drink too much and thus doesn't always feel the alcohol...but since I finish mine and his, I do. I think you can always have an extra floater put in it for low cost, if you feel it's not quite strong enough.

We got one of those yard tall rum drink things at the Tropicana pool. There was definately alcohol in ours. I think it was $5.95 for each, but there was at least $20 worth of booze in it. WE drank that thing for hours it seemed. And never seemed to get to the bottom of it. At first I thought it was weak, but then I found the alcohol. smile.gif Dan poured me around the four corners of the South Strip that night. smile.gif

Oh, boy do the drinks have alcohol. Sometime it's all floating on the top and sometime it's hanging out on the bottom of the glass.

I don't think the cheap frozen drinks come out of the machine without alcohol. The bartender adds the alcohol to the glass before filling or adds it to the top. Just mix it in a bit and you'll be OK.

La Bayou is it for sure ( I have the glasses ;) ) The $1 is tiny probably about 6 oz but it makes it easier to try alot of flavors. The yd size was $4 and the larger size ( I think we didn't get a large) was around $6. No need to worry about booze theres plenty especially if you tip the gal the first time through). Plus the kids LOVE the mardi gras beads they give you for free when you walk in the door I brought a pile of them home!
